Terms & Conditions.
This document is a legally binding contract issued by Absolute Journey Private Limited and accepted by the Guest. By completing a booking, the Guest acknowledges and accepts these Terms and any other terms and conditions provided during the booking process. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions
“The Absolute Journey” means Absolute Journey Private Limited, the travel operator providing the Journey and related services. “Guest” means any person who books or participates in a Small Group Journey. Further defined terms — Journey, Reservation, Booking, Suppliers, Force Majeure Event, Travel Documents, Deposit, Balance Payment, Booking Confirmation — apply as set out in the master Terms.
2. Booking, payment and refunds
A non-refundable Deposit secures the Reservation; the Balance Payment is due by the date specified in the Booking Confirmation and, once paid, is likewise non-refundable except as expressly provided. Payments may be made in the currency stated on the Booking Confirmation; bank charges and conversion differences are the Guest’s responsibility.
3. Cancellations and changes
Cancellations by Guests must be made in writing. Charges follow the schedule published on the journey page — deposit retained beyond 120 days; 60%, 85% and 100% of the fare at 120–61, 60–31 and 30 days or fewer respectively. Requests to modify a Booking are subject to availability and supplier terms.
4. Travel documentation and compliance
Guests are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents — passports, visas, permits and health certificates. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the scheduled return date. Absolute Journey Private Limited provides guidance only and accepts no liability for refusal of entry.
5. Health, fitness to travel, and special needs
Guests warrant that they are in good health and able to undertake the physical requirements of the Journey. Pre-existing conditions, dietary and special requirements must be disclosed at booking; we will accommodate them where reasonably possible.
6. Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, repatriation, cancellation and personal effects is a condition of travel. Guests must supply policy details before departure. Failure to obtain insurance may result in cancellation without refund.
7. Itinerary changes and modifications
Absolute Journey Private Limited reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation or transport where operational requirements, safety, weather, supplier availability or Force Majeure require. Substitutions of comparable standard are not a breach of contract. The substance of the Journey is never reduced.
8. Liability and disclaimer
Absolute Journey Private Limited acts as an organiser and intermediary for independent Suppliers and is not liable for their acts, omissions or negligence, nor for loss, injury, delay or damage arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Warranties
Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. All warranties not expressly stated, including merchantability and fitness for purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Travel conduct and termination
Guests must conduct themselves respectfully towards staff, service providers, fellow travellers and local communities. Prohibited conduct — including harassment, theft, vandalism, intoxication or illegal activity — may result in immediate removal from the Journey without refund.
11. Intellectual property rights
All itineraries, brochures, photography, videos, designs, trademarks and other materials remain the property of Absolute Journey Private Limited or its licensors. Guests may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
12. Confidentiality, non-disparagement and non-solicitation
Guests agree to keep confidential any non-public commercial information — including pricing, supplier and operational details — obtained through the Journey, and not to solicit Suppliers directly for a period of twelve months.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform where prevented by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government action, strikes, war or terrorism. Cancellations for Force Majeure are governed by Clause 3.
14. Data privacy and protection
Personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of arranging and administering travel, in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy. Data may be shared with Suppliers to the extent necessary to fulfil the Booking.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be referred to good-faith negotiation, then mediation in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and finally to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, which have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Booking Confirmation, itinerary, invoices and any documents expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between Absolute Journey Private Limited and the Guest.
18. Amendments and waiver
Absolute Journey Private Limited may amend these Terms from time to time; amendments apply to new Bookings from the date of publication. No waiver of any breach constitutes a waiver of any subsequent breach.
19. Assignment
Guests may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent. Absolute Journey Private Limited may assign to any affiliate or successor.
20. Survival
Provisions which by their nature are intended to survive — including liability, indemnity, intellectual property, confidentiality, dispute resolution and governing law — survive cancellation, termination or completion of the Journey.
